Enliven Mama Africa is a Non-Governmental and Voluntary Organisation with no political or religious affiliation. We provide opportunities to volunteer in Ghana on sustainable developmental projects and gain experience in the development sector. Our projects are developed with local stakeholders and implemented by our team, volunteers and stakeholders.
Enliven mama Africa UK (Charity No 1167593) started in 2015 in partnership with Enliven Mama Africa Ghana (D.S.D/6757) registered charity. The organisation operates in Ghana, currently Kumasi in the Ashanti Region and will be expanded to other parts of the country in the future.

Our Story and History
We started life in 2009 as a UK (1138902) & Ghana (D.S.W/5822) registered charity, in 2013 we were able to empower the charity in Ghana to take full control of operations and place the Ghanaian Trustees and Management in control of the charities operations and future.
VISION STATEMENT
It is our vision to see the deprived in society flourish through free enterprise in order to be self-sustainable and for the future generation to gain more knowledge and understanding to make the nation and world a better place to live in.
MISSION STATEMENT
We seek to promote economic empowerment through small scale entrepreneurship for young, single mothers and the disabled people in society, provide a better education through the renovation of unused spaces in the various privileged schools and seeking the wellbeing of Special Needs Children.

LIBRARIES BUILT - 344 In government primary and secondary schools.
ICT ROOMS BUILT - 16 In government primary and secondary schools.
EMPOWERING WOMEN
SUSTAINABLE INCOME GENERATED - 400+ For Women who are caregivers of orphans and vulnerable children.
HOMES BUILT OR EXTENDED - 27 For caregivers of orphans and vulnerable children with inadequate housing.
In Addition
Planting over 11,000 fruit trees as part of a disaster prevention programme to protect homes and community buildings in the rainy season, provide shelter in the summer heat and give a free source of nutritional food. Distributing bicycles to caregivers without means of transport, facilitating remote caregivers being registered on the national health care scheme and building a vegetable garden at Kumasi childrens home.
